Role Overview
The Technical Sales Director is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic leadership of the sales function, focusing on compressed air service contract expansion and new compressor installations. This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to deliver tailored solutions for March customers.
Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with MARCH compressed air business objectives.
2. Continue top position the company as a trusted advisor to our customer base for compressed air systems, leveraging technical knowledge to differentiate offerings.
3. Understand the March Compressed Air customer base and how to leverage the growth of service and capital sales revenues.
4. Study market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and adapt commercial pricing strategies to grow profitable revenues.
5. Performance Management: Monitor sales performance, analyse data, forecast sales revenue (value and timing) and motivate teams to achieve or exceed financial goals across an external sales team of 6 and an internal team of 10.
6. Own CRM reporting and data management.
7. Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with selected customers.
