We are recruiting an Autism Support Assistant to work within a primary school supporting pupils on the autism spectrum.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 autism support
* Support sensory regulation and routines
* Use visual supports and structured approaches
* Work closely with teaching and SEN staff
* Promote independence and engagement
Skills & Experience
* Experience supporting autism is desirable
* Calm, consistent and patient approach
* Understanding of sensory needs
* Strong teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
