The Role You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients, providing both compliance and advisory support across a range of accounting and tax matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing statutory accounts for a portfolio of clients
Preparing corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns
Completing P11Ds and capital gains tax reporting
Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
Acting as a key point of contact for clients
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Identifying tax planning opportunities where appropriate
Managing deadlines across multiple assignments
Supporting managers with ad hoc projects
Assisting and mentoring junior members of the team
About You ACA or ACCA qualified (essential)
CTA qualification would be advantageous
Minimum 5 years experience within a UK accountancy practice
Experience using Xero or other cloud-based accounting software
Experience with Iris would be beneficial but not essential
Comfortable managing a portfolio of clients
Strong communication skills and confident dealing with clients
Well organised with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
Proactive and able to work independently
