About Us
The RAC is the UK’s leading breakdown service provider, powered by a dedicated team of 4,000 ‘orange heroes’. Our unprecedented growth means we have an exciting opportunity for skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanics to join our Roadside Patrol team.
Your Role as a Roadside Mechanic
As a Roadside Mechanic, you will:
* Handle diverse breakdowns and technical issues, showcasing your technical expertise.
* Provide exceptional service to our members, dealing face-to-face with customers.
What You Need to Succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
* Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
* A customer-focused approach.
* A full UK driving licence.
With a base pay of £35,000 and unlimited earning potential, your average earnings can range between £43,000 to £53,000. You’ll receive comprehensive induction training, access to the latest vehicle technology, and ongoing support from our technical team.
