Trusted by over 1,200 small businesses, they offer free UK-wide shipping, design support (including logo creation), and durable materials—vinyl signs last up to five years, and magnetic versions stay secure at motorway speeds. With a streamlined online ordering process, they ensure professional branding with cost-effective, DIY-friendly solutions.
They're looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Social Media and Content Creation Apprentice. The role is to enhance their online presence and grow engagement across Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram. This role involves developing and implementing effective social media strategies, working closely with various departments—from vinyl application and vehicle graphics to wedding signage and food cart assembly—to ensure a consistent brand message.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with marketing goals;
· Create engaging content tailored to each platform;
· Monitor trends, comments, and feedback to boost audience engagement;
· Analyse performance metrics and recommend improvements;
· Stay updated on industry trends and emerging social media technologies;
· Assist in the creation of email marketing campaigns;
· Assist with public relations efforts, including press releases.
The Ideal Candidate:
· Achieved English and maths GCSE at 4/C and above;
· Be educated to A-level or higher in synergistic subjects;
· Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, with a keen interest in creating engaging content and growing online communities;
· Experience with Canva, and design/editing software;
· Confident being in front of the camera when required;
· Strong written and verbal communication skills;
· A basic understanding of social media management tools and analytics platforms is desirable but not essential;
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
· An understanding of public relations principles is desirable;
· Prior experience with Mailchimp or email marketing is highly desirable.
The Apprenticeship
This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:
· Campaign management;
· Content creation;
· Social Media marketing;
· Digital and traditional communications;
· Brand management;
· Communication skills;
· Project Management;
· And much, much more.
All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.
In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at no extra cost. This means that once you're finished on the apprenticeship you'll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
