We are recruiting an ambitious, passionate subject specialist to deliver the curriculum to our KS3 and KS4 pupils. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join us, bringing high expectations in teaching and learning, a secure knowledge of the national curriculum for English, and experience of delivering a range of accreditations in English at KS4.
Within the role of English teacher, we are looking for someone who can:
* Develop and implement high-quality teaching and learning strategies in their classroom.
* Collaborate with colleagues, ensuring excellent professional development opportunities.
* Enhance student outcomes, driving engagement and achievement across KS3 and KS4.
* Champion our diverse curriculum, ensuring students experience a broad, balanced, and rigorous English education tailored to their needs.
* Share our belief that reading, writing, and oracy are central to learning for our pupils.
The English Department
We have a strong, collaborative team of six primary teachers and two English specialists in KS3/4, with a wealth of experience and knowledge.
