SEN Teacher - Specialist Provision (Primary/Secondary SEN Setting)

Contract: Full Time | Long Term (ASAP Start)
Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a specialist SEN provision in the Northwich area who are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a highly supportive environment, teaching pupils with a range of complex special educational needs, including autism (ASC), social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, communication difficulties, and learning disabilities.
The school is looking for a passionate and resilient teacher who can deliver highly differentiated and engaging learning experiences, while supporting pupils' academic, emotional, and social development.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver personalised, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Teach pupils with a range of complex SEN needs across varying ability levels
Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
Implement and support EHCP targets and individual learning plans
Use a range of behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, therapists, and external professionals
Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress and development
Promote independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working within an SEN or specialist provision setting (essential)
Strong understanding of autism, SEMH, and complex learning needs
Confident in delivering differentiated and personalised learning
Excellent behaviour management and relationship-building skills
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
Pay
£140 - £200 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
