Support Worker Location: Dunfermline Contract: Waken Night, 30 hrs Pay: £12.60 per hour About the Role At Real Life Options we provide person centred support to enable the PWS to live the life that they choose. Support is uniquely tailored to each individual, ensuring they have choice and control over the planning and delivery of their support. You will support them to reach their potential by providing both physical and emotional support, along with encouraging them to develop positive relationships and achieve their goals. This role will involve working in supported living services. The individuals we support have varied levels of verbal communication, autism. It would be advantageous if you have previous experience of working with adults with challenging behaviour, although this is not essential, as full training will be provided, and Real-Life Options will put you through the SVQ 2/3. What You'll Do Support individuals with personal care, medication and household tasks Promote independence, and provide physical and emotional support Communicate with medical professionals and implement support plans and risk assessments Maintain clear and accurate records of support provided Communicate effectively with the team, family members Work independently and as part of a supportive team Shift Patterns Shift patterns are between 10pm and 8am What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is: Caring and compassionate Honest and reliable Flexible and self-motivated A good communicator Inclusive and values-driven If you can tick six or more of these qualities, you could be the right fit.
