International Sales Manager – SKY AGRO LTD (SKY MALT)

Location: Remote or Northampton / Daventry, UK

Type: Full-Time (Permanent following probation)

Reports to: Export Director

Compensation: Competitive base + commission

Travel: Some international travel may be required (expensed)


About SKY AGRO / SKY MALT

SKY AGRO LTD is an international supplier of malt and brewing solutions, operating across the UK, Spain, and global export markets. Through our SKY MALT division, we supply high-quality malt to breweries and distributors worldwide.

Our international business is growing rapidly, with active markets across Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa. The focus is on building long-term supply relationships, expanding market presence, and scaling recurring export sales.


Role Overview

We are looking for an International Sales Manager to drive global sales of SKY MALT.

The role is responsible for developing new business, managing international clients, and converting opportunities into recurring supply contracts. The position requires a commercially focused individual who can operate independently and take full ownership of sales performance.


Key Responsibilities


Business Development

* Identify and develop new customers across international markets
* Build and manage a structured sales pipeline
* Convert enquiries and trials into long-term supply agreements
* Support expansion into new regions
* Sell malt to breweries and distributors globally
* Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure
* Negotiate pricing, volumes, and commercial terms
* Maintain strong ongoing relationships with customers


Commercial Management

* Develop pricing aligned with cost, logistics, and margin targets
* Assess customer risk and agree appropriate payment terms
* Maintain visibility over contract profitability
* Track pipeline and activity through CRM systems


Export & Logistics Coordination

* Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on order execution
* Maintain understanding of logistics, freight costs, and delivery structures


Product & Market Knowledge

* Develop understanding of malt specifications and applications
* Advise customers on product suitability and specifications
* Stay informed on market trends, pricing, and competition


Candidate Requirements

* Experience in international B2B sales (ideally malt, brewing, or food ingredients)
* Proven ability to generate and close new business
* Understanding of export processes and international trade
* Strong commercial and negotiation skills
* Experience in brewing or related industries
* Additional languages
