Job Description:
AECOM is seeking a Digital Optimisation Lead UK&I for our Water End Market work, supporting the growth of our digital service. The Digital Optimisation Lead will report to the Water Digital Lead for Europe & India.
Guided by client understanding, our digital water team harnesses our domain, delivery, and digital expertise to advise, advance, and implement sustainable solutions for tomorrow’s success! Our digital capabilities are based around 3 pillars: digital optimisation, digital advisory, and digital implementation. These focus on enhancing project delivery, guiding client digital investments, and embedding digital technologies for asset optimisation and organisational benefits.
As a Digital Optimisation Lead, you will guide our internal delivery teams to transform and optimise engineering deliverables and digital adoption. You will support digital strategy execution, facilitate cross-market collaboration, and champion digital adoption within the organization.
Here’s what you’ll do:
* Drive digital adoption across the region by identifying upskilling needs.
* Build trusted relationships with global digital water leaders and ensure initiatives are aligned and implemented regionally.
* Lead digital efforts on multiple projects or frameworks.
* Manage resources effectively for project success.
* Serve as the regional point of contact for software technical queries.
* Present updates and successes at regional water townhalls.
* Develop and implement digital strategies in collaboration with the Water Digital Lead.
* Lead and manage regional optimisation teams to support project delivery with digital solutions.
* Enhance AECOM’s market profile through thought leadership, conferences, and professional engagement.

Qualifications
Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?
We’re looking for:
* A postgraduate or equivalent qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering.
* Experience delivering project information per BIM standards.
* Proficiency in Revit and/or Civil 3D, with experience in Navisworks or similar software.
* Experience in automation opportunities and developing scalable MVPs.
* Ability to influence non-technical stakeholders across the business.
* Mentoring and coaching experience with technical and non-technical teams.
