Our client is seeking a Finance Officer to join their friendly and dedicated finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys maintaining accurate financial records and supporting operational efficiency within a values-driven environment. Working closely with the Finance Manager and Head of Finance, you’ll help ensure that the income, expenditure, and funds are accurately recorded and compliant with accounting standards. What will the Finance Officer role involve? Carrying out daily reconciliations between Xero and multiple bank accounts Managing the credit card expense process, ensuring all receipts are collected and posted accurately Raising monthly invoices for completed work and reviewing invoices prepared by others when required Maintaining a clean accounts receivable ledger, chasing debts promptly to minimise overdue balances Managing the accounts payable ledger, processing invoices and expenses, and running weekly payments Monitoring the finance inbox, responding to queries in a timely and professional manner Suitable Candidate for the Finance Officer vacancy: Previous experience in a finance or accounts role Confident using Xero or similar accounting software Strong attention to detail with excellent reconciliation and ledger management skills Additional benefits and information for the role of Finance Officer: 22 days holiday + BH (FTE) AAT study support ...
