About the Opportunity
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic commercial team in Leeds, initially working on a project in Keighley. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our commercial manager and team, providing essential support to ensure project profitability and success.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will:

Champion Safety: Ensure our safety-first message is visible and integrated into all project activities.

Compliance: Adhere to legal and company policies while managing contractual obligations.

Contract Management: Understand project contract terms, manage risks, and identify opportunities for enhancement.

Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive records to maximize contractual entitlements.
*
Team Communication: Collaborate with operational teams on risk management and contract terms.
*
Payment Applications: Prepare and submit applications for payment, ensuring substantiation of compensation or variations.
*
Subcontract Management: Manage subcontract accounts through to final settlement.
*
Progress Monitoring: Control project progress and provide accurate internal reporting.
*
Report Availability: Ensure timely and quality delivery of all project reports and applications.
*
Negotiation: Work towards settling the project account with the client.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate with:
* Experience in MEP/Building services or main build construction at the Quantity Surveyor level.
* A relevant BSC/degree or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
