As senior care assistant the role is to support the Care Home Manager/Assistant Care Home Manager in all aspects of the homes management, including taking temporary complete charge during their absence To look after the physical, emotional, cultural and social needs of the residents using a person-centred approach. To help train and actively support other Care Assistants in all aspects of their work in the home To adhere to all regulatory and statutory obligations and Company policies, procedures and guidelines. Skills Required Ability to communicate and interact well with people. To be able to read, write and work with numbers to a good standard Ability to work well as part of a team.u Demonstrate an empathy and understanding of the needs of older people. Ability to carry out all aspects of the role to a high standard at all times. Leadership skills Qualifications Required A minimum of relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent Experience in a similar role within a health or social care setting.
