Technical Support Manager - Food Manufacturing - FTC
We are looking for an experienced Technical Support Manager to assist the development, governance, and improvement of technical and quality systems. The client is seeking a candidate familiar with the demands of a site supplying a diverse range of retail customers and the audit schedules and food safety systems involved.
The Fixed Term Contract will have the same benefits package as a permanent contract, including fully paid holiday entitlement.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the processes of the Quality & Food Safety Systems
* Constantly update and maintain the risk‑based internal audit programme
* Carry out internal audits and support audit close‑out
* Produce weekly and monthly KPI and technical performance reports
* Support the introduction of digital and paperless technical systems
* Ensure compliance with customer, legal, and accreditation standards
* Work collaboratively with site teams on technical training and capability
Qualifications
* Food Safety Level 3 & HACCP Level 3 (minimum)
* Significant food industry experience
* Strong understanding of BRCGS and retailer Codes of Practice
* Internal Auditor trained
* Good knowledge of technical systems, auditing, and non‑conformance management
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
