Sales & Private Events Manager- Large Scale Venue East London 40k plus bonus and commission Our client operates a vibrant, community-focused hospitality venue in East London a large-scale social and entertainment space designed to bring people together. We are looking to appoint an exceptional Sales & Events Manager to lead and grow the private hire and events function. This role is central to driving revenue through private events, group bookings, and partnerships, while positioning the venue as a go-to destination for social and corporate events across London. -Sales & Revenue Generation -Qualify and convert inbound private event enquiries -Develop and present tailored proposals that showcase the venues spaces, capabilities, and experiences -Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities -Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets -Client Relationship Management -Proposal development -Contract negotiation -Event planning -Post-event follow-up -Maintain accurate and detailed CRM records -Track and report on sales activity, pipeline performance, revenue, and client feedback -Monitor market trends and competitor activity -Contribute to regular sales meetings, forecasting, and strategic planning What we are looking for: -Minimum 3+ years experience in sales and events management within hospitality or venue-led environments -Experience working in distinctive or non-traditional event spaces Strong knowledge of the London venue market, including venue-finding agents and event partners -Passion for food, drink, and delivering exceptional event experiences -Confident working cross-functionally with strong problem-solving and analytical skills -Results-driven, proactive, and commercially minded -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; personable, creative, and confident 45 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Sunday. Hybrid working available following successful completion of the probation period. Any additional hours worked will be returned as Time in Lieu.
