The Role Here at Fortem Solutions we're currently recruiting a Health and Safety Advisor to support one of the biggest contracts we have - Orbit Housing. This is a full time, permanent position based in the office in Stratford-upon-Avon, although travel to our sites would be expected The Company Fortem Solutions are a nationwide business specialising in the Social Housing sector. We provide Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and Retrofit workstreams within Local Authorities and Housing Associations. Duties & Responsibilities Reporting to the Health, Safety & Environment Manager, you will work with the Operations team and the wider Health & Safety team to provide direction and support to Operations in order to help them achieve compliance with company systems and safety legislation. What You Will Need Essential: • NEBOSH General Certificate • Experience within a Health and Safety role at advisor level • Full UK driving licence Desirable: • SMSTS • Scaffold Inspectors Course • IOSH accident investigation (or similar) • IEMA environmental auditing qualification (or similar) • L3 Award in Education & Training (PTTLS) • Experience in a planned maintenance and refurbishment H&S Advisor role would be advantageous however other non-construction areas would be considered.
