Location: Manchester, hybrid - 1 day in the office a week
Contract: 12-month fixed-term (Maternity Cover)
Salary: £35,000 - £39,000 per annum

Were looking for an experienced Telephony Engineer to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in Cisco Call Manager, Contact Centre solutions, and IPT systems within an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and manage Cisco telephony and contact centre platforms.
* Act as technical lead on projects and service improvements.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
* Deliver clear communication to stakeholders during changes or go-lives.
Essential Skills:
* Cisco Call Manager, Contact Centre & Unity expertise
* Endpoint device management (desk phones, Jabber, Webex)
* Experience with VMware, Putty, and monitoring tools
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
* Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management tools (e.g., Freshservice)
Desirable:
* M365 (Teams/Teams Phone), AD/Azure AD, SCCM
* Experience with BTS (e.g.Atereo) platform
