We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Talent & Development Business Partner to lead the evolution of our global talent and learning framework. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape how the organisation attracts, develops, and retains the talent that drives transformation and growth.
The Opportunity
This is more than a traditional L&D role. You will lead the end-to-end employee development journey across all regions and functions — from recruitment governance and onboarding through to leadership development and succession planning.
You’ll partner closely with senior leaders to translate business strategy into actionable talent plans, while directly owning the systems, frameworks, and processes that make it all happen.

🔑 What You’ll Be Responsible For
Talent Strategy & Partnership

Partner with senior leaders to align talent and development plans with business objectives

Advise on workforce and capability planning to ensure future readiness
*
Ensure all initiatives are measurable, sustainable, and aligned to HR strategy
Recruitment & Onboarding
*
Design and embed consistent, scalable recruitment and onboarding processes
*
Improve quality of hire, speed to productivity, and retention
*
Own recruitment governance, ensuring compliance and an outstanding candidate experience
*
Lead strategic and senior-level hiring initiatives
Talent Management & Succession Planning
*
Establish and lead the annual talent review and succession planning cycle
*
Identify and develop high-potential talent and future successors
*
Maintain robust talent data, reporting, and insights linked to performance outcomes
Learning & Development
*
Launch and manage a global Learning Management System (LMS)
*
Design and deliver development programmes independently and through external partners
*
Build structured career pathways and capability frameworks aligned to business needs
*
Own and optimise investment strategies, maximising funding for future skills
What We’re Looking For
Essential
*
Proven experience in talent management, succession planning, and L&D within a multi-site or global business
*
Strong knowledge of recruitment governance and onboarding design
*
Hands-on experience implementing and managing Learning Management Systems
*
Demonstrated success with apprenticeships and funding strategies
*
Ability to design and deliver learning programmes end-to-end
*
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills
*
Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing capability across senior leaders
Desirable
*
Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environments
*
Exposure to HR systems (HRIS/LMS implementations)
