This is a full-time on-site role covering for a Sales Coordinator whilst on maternity leave, located near Alton, Hampshire. The expected length of maternity cover is 12 months, and there will be a period of parallel working for training and induction. The role could develop into a permanent position.
The Sales Coordinator will manage daily sales activities by processing customer and internet orders, maintaining accurate records, supporting the sales team, providing quotations for bespoke and standard items, processing payments, raising Pro-Formas and collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth operations. This is a technical role providing excellent customer service, addressing enquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction while assisting with general administrative tasks.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong Customer Service and Communication skills for engaging with clients and addressing enquiries effectively.
Proficiency in Order Processing and Sales to manage orders and support the sales team efficiently.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using standard office software, ideally a knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Excel.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience in sales administration or a related field is preferred.
Experience in the Marine Industry would be preferred but not essential.
