The role: Lead all finance activity, ensuring strong governance, control, and assurance. Support board and audit committee oversight. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on strategic decisions. Lead financial planning, accounts, business cases, and business partnering. Drive value for money through solutions-focused financial management. Oversee procurement and commercial activity. Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships. The Person As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience: Essential: Fully CCAB-qualified accountant with government finance experience. Proven experience preparing or auditing financial statements. Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and building effective relationships. Excellent communicator, able to distil complex financial information into clear, actionable insight. Holds CTC clearance or above.
