Position: Secondary Supply Teacher Location: Islington Start date: As soon as possible Contract: Ad-hoc/long term supply Daily date: £190 - £287 per day Smart Teachers are recruiting passionate and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and well-resourced secondary schools in London Borough of Islington With increasing demand across KS3–KS5, we are seeking subject specialists and strong general cover teachers who can deliver engaging lessons, maintain high expectations, and quickly build positive relationships with students and staff. The Role: Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects (or within your specialism) Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment Follow school behaviour policies confidently and consistently Provide feedback in line with school procedures Opportunities available for day-to-day supply, short-term blocks, and long-term placements The Schools: We work in partnership with a variety of secondary schools across Islington, including high-achieving academies, community schools, and inclusive mainstream settings. Many offer modern facilities, supportive leadership teams, and excellent transport links via the Victoria Line, Overground and Northern Line.
