Senior Quantity Surveyor - POSITION FULL TIME BASED IN MANCHESTER (T&S PROVIDED)
Location: Manchester (moving onto Sellafield)
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000pa + £5,750 car allowance
Hours: 40 hours per week
Working Pattern: Office-based initially, with 1 day from home after probation
We’re working with a leading engineering and construction business delivering major projects across the UK, particularly within complex and highly regulated environments. They have a strong presence in the nuclear sector, are well established on long-term frameworks, and have a solid pipeline of work ahead.
They’re looking to bring in a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support delivery on a major programme, starting in Manchester before transitioning onto site at Sellafield
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing the commercial side of projects from early stages through to completion, working closely with delivery teams to keep things on track.
Day to day, this will include:
1. Managing costs and overall commercial performance
2. Supporting procurement and subcontractor management
3. Handling valuations, variations and final accounts
4. Working closely with project teams to support delivery
5. Providing clear and accurate commercial reporting

What They’re Looking For
6. Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
7. Background in construction, engineering or infrastructure projects
8. Comfortable working in regulated environments
9. Strong commercial awareness and communication skills
10. Ability to obtain BPSS clearance
