The Opportunity
How does working for a hugely established engineering company overseeing multiple high-profile projects, with significant career growth and personal development opportunities, sound?
We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to oversee our Midlands-based projects. This role offers the chance to add value and serve as a stepping stone into higher-profile roles as we continue to expand. Whether you seek further qualifications or more development, we support your growth.
We offer a competitive package: £21.75 per hour, with up to 50 hours (more if needed), equating to up to £56k annually, including door-to-door travel time. With additional benefits and development prospects, this is a unique opportunity.
The Person
We are flexible regarding sector and experience but prefer candidates with a strong electrical supervisory background, ideally with water/utilities experience.
You will leverage your electrical project expertise to oversee various projects, managing teams on-site and applying hands-on skills as needed.
The Role
You will supervise multiple projects across the West Midlands, ranging from a few thousand to millions in value. Projects include design and build of sites, maintenance, and installation, depending on client needs.
Most work is in the water & utility industry, but sector experience in other areas is also welcome. We value the right 'person' above specific sector experience.
The Company
We are a 35-year-old M&E engineering firm designing, installing, maintaining, and commissioning sites. With a £40m turnover and ongoing growth, we have a proven track record of developing talent, including two directors who started as apprentices.
