What you’ll be doing As a Technical Team Member within the Asset Data Team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive, high-quality Data Management support service. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your data skills and to pursue a career within data. Provide a comprehensive high quality Data Management support service on behalf of Network Planning & Regulation within Energy Networks and support processes to meet Regulatory reporting requirements. Assist in the digitisation of the Electrical Network using Geographical Information System, notably ESRI ArcMap (incorporating GND/OHL & SAP). Bring a prior knowledge of building, maintaining and control of the HV & LV Connectivity Model within ArcMap to support improved Customer Linking information. Be proactive in the diagnosis and correction of data quality issues, day-to-day general support activities and be responsible for ensuring high quality and accuracy of all own work and that of contract teams working on behalf of Asset Data. Submit data inputs into the various Data Management tracking databases. Updating ESRI ArcMap system with GIS/GND network information at all voltages to ensure NAMS workflows are accurately assigned. Comply with relevant documented processes as outlined in Energy Networks Quality Management System (ISO 9001 and PAS55) What you’ll bring Ability to prioritize workload and manage urgent matters while delivering excellent customer service and communication. Strong attention to detail and familiarity with Energy Networks policies and procedures, as well as a good understanding of its electrical infrastructure. Experience with IT systems related to Asset Data, including the ability to interrogate relevant databases. Proficient in Microsoft Office packages with a working knowledge of systems and tools essential for the role. Familiarity with NAMS ESRI GIS Applications. Experience with NAMS SAP processes (relevant to task). Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental Legislation. As a minimum, you will demonstrate: Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Working knowledge and competent use of NAMS ESRI GIS Applications. Working knowledge (relevant to task) and proficient use of NAMS SAP Application and processes. Ability to adapt to business, system, and process changes. Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills. Capability to manage challenging problems and situations effectively.
