Overview
Applications are invited for a Paediatric SHO post, 6 months to start ASAP, in a friendly, well‑supported environment that values learning and development. The role is EWTD compliant with a full shift rota and operates within a 24/7 consultant‑led service, supported by 9 speciality registrars (ST4+) and 17 paediatric speciality registrars (ST1‑3).
Key Responsibilities
* Cover general paediatrics, including ward duties, A&E, and post‑natal ward performing NIPEs.
* Attend and assist with deliveries in the Labour room.
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient‑centred care across all service areas.
* Support junior staff and participate in continuous learning and development programmes.
Essential Qualifications
* Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
* Recent NHS experience desirable.
