Overview
You can help people in your community and start a great new career by becoming a Support Worker for the NHS and Kent County Council Home First Team. These are roles working across health and social care to provide support for people leaving hospital to help them return home safely and continue their recovery in their own surroundings.
Responsibilities
* Help people to regain their confidence by assisting with personal care, eating and drinking, and staying as active as they can.
* Work with a large team of health and social care professionals at all times to provide high-standard care.
* Support individuals to go home from hospital and recover in their own surroundings.
What we are looking for
* Believe in providing personalised support.
* Can work independently and flexibly.
* Respect privacy and dignity and want to expand knowledge in both a Health and Social Care setting.
* No experience in the Health and Social Care sector is required; however the ability to work flexibly and a passion to make a difference are a must.
Location and hours
Roles are based in East Kent (Ashford, Thanet, Dover) and West Kent. In your application please indicate your preferred locations: East Kent, West Kent, or No Preference. Operational hours are 08:00 – 20:00, seven days a week (shift basis). Contracts will be available for all staff.
Requirements and accommodations
