Role Responsibilities
* Raising purchase orders for bespoke/non:stock lines
* Liaising with design team on ensuring correct artwork for order and sending artwork to be approved
* Managing pre:production approvals
* Managing customer testing and QC/QA requirements and Factory audits
* Ensuring product labelling adheres to testing requirements
* Managing repeat orders with customers and rebuys. Updating customers on their stock holding to prompt customers for call offs and re:orders with the factory: London
* Creating product ranges briefed by customers alongside Account Managers
* Wide knowledge of materials and capability of Far East factories to be able to communicate complex product development with customers and specific high expectations and requirements
* Adhering to each individual customers specific sealing process and liaising between factory and customer to ensure changes to product have been made and approved
* Providing customers with up:to:date factory information and annual audits Completing customer product spec forms for each product line sold including a full breakdown of materials, composition and proof of eco credentials
* Ensuring all stages of critical path is met and timelines adhered to
* Resolving quality control issues which may arise
* Customer on boarding
* Use customer specific online portals to manage orders in their system
* Product pricing : determine correct duty / estimated shipping cost for sales team
* Attend customer online portal training sessions and customer meetings
* Order packaging (barcodes/swing tags etc) for relevant orders
Key Skills and Experience
* Minimum 2/3 years proven track record in a similar role with a retail / wholesale background.
* Experience of working with high:level retailers
* Understanding of the product development cycle from Far East factories
* A solid analytical approach to decision making.
* Customer experience led approach to enable growth and create opportunities.
* Positive outlook and confident can:do attitude.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Able to effectively challenge internal and external stakeholders backed up by data.
* Confident presentation skills to peer group and business colleagues.
* Ability to prioritise, multi:task and work to deadlines.
* Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
