Aspire Drug and Alcohol Services provide a comprehensive range of interventions for Drug and Alcohol users, their families and carers to support rehabilitation and optimal recovery from dependence.

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced, Clinical Nurse Specialist to an established team to offer further specialist prescribing support, led by a Specialist Consultant.
Main duties of the job
Leading and supporting other members of the multi-disciplinary team, you will provide high quality prescribing interventions, clinical support in the specialist area of Drug and Alcohol to the Aspire Drug and Alcohol Services. The post holder will work in a small team, supporting a prescribing only case load and offering specialist clinical support. Your role will include supporting staff through recognised governance structures in the service where their patients who have both prescribing interventions and co-existing issues that require addressing.
There is an expectation that staff will be able to work across all of the key delivery areas within the service from time to time. These include prison and working alongside acute settings.
