Lusona Consultancy is delighted to be partnering with our client in the manufacturing sector to source suitable applicants for the position of Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing business, playing a key role within the finance function and supporting the wider operations team. The role is fully office-based and ideal for a hands‑on accountant who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working as part of a collaborative team.
Key duties will include:
* Preparing monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journals.
* Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support business performance.
* Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations.
* Supporting with year‑end statutory accounts and audit preparation.
* Providing financial insight to operational management to drive efficiency and cost control.
* Continuous review of processes and systems to enhance accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
About You:
* Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience.
* Strong management accounting experience, ideally with a background in manufacturing, FMCG or sale of goods.
* Excellent Excel skills with strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
* Hands‑on, proactive, and confident in communicating with non‑finance stakeholders.
* A team player who thrives in a busy, fast‑paced setting.
This role is suitable for a Management Accountant with existing experience, or an Assistant Accountant who is ready to take the next step into a management accounting role. If you’re proactive, eager to learn, and confident working with operational teams, we’d love to hear from you.
