We are looking to appoint an EYFS Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Grade D on Barnet Unified Reward contract) to join our team at Sacred Heart for 5 days per week, from 08.30 to 15.45 daily (33.75 hours per week with half hour unpaid lunch) Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant Salary: Grade D £25,623.65 actual (FTE £31,074.00) Contract: Full Time, Permanent Location: N20 Start date: September 2025 Candidates should have experience of working with SEND children and within the EYFS years. Experience of Read Write Inc phonics would be helpful. You must have experience and knowledge of child development in the Early Years, and a number of strategies to encourage learning, including nurturing and positive behaviour management skills. You will need to be sensitive to the special needs of individual children and be able to work as part of a team. Previous experience of running interventions would be useful. Candidates will need to demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm and have excellent literacy, spoken language and numeracy skills.
