We are looking for a commercially minded Marketing Manager to take ownership of our e-commerce experience and drive incremental revenue across our marketing channels. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on data, has a strong test-and-learn mindset, and is passionate about delivering hyper-personalised customer experiences.
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you'll work closely with the wider marketing department and commercial teams to shape and execute campaigns that turn insight into measurable growth.
About the position
* Salary £40,000 to £48,000 depending on skills and experience
* This position is office based 5 days a week in Manvers, Rotherham
* Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. You will be able to work more flexibly (10 am - 4 pm core hours) after probation has been successfully completed.
Role responsibilities
* Identify opportunities to drive incremental revenue through regular A/B testing and execute campaigns across multiple marketing channels.
* Own the e-commerce function and deliver hyper-personalised experiences to customers across the website.
* Plan, brief and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with commercial targets and seasonal trading peaks.
* Support with customer-facing communications and campaign messaging across marketing channels.
* Use customer data and analytics to segment audiences, refine targeting and continually improve conversion and retention.
* Monitor key performance metrics and report on campaign ROI to senior stakeholders.
* Collaborate with the development team on website improvements, UX enhancements and personalisation features.
* Manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers and partners to ensure value, quality and on-time delivery.
* Support with organising and executing events, such as customer open days.
* Stay close to industry trends, competitor activity and emerging marketing technologies to keep Route 1 Print ahead of the curve.
Required Skills
* Proven experience in a marketing role within an e-commerce or B2B environment.
* Strong track record of running A/B tests and using results to drive measurable revenue growth.
* Hands-on experience across traditional marketing channels (e.g. direct mail, print, partnerships and events).
* Strong analytical skills with confidence using tools such as Google Analytics, GA4 and CRM/email platforms.
* Experience delivering personalisation strategies on an e-commerce website.
* Strong communication skills, including the ability to write clear and engaging customer-facing content.
* Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Desirable Skills
* Experience in the print, packaging or related industries.
* Design skills using Adobe Creative Suite.
