As an Associate Director in Electrical Engineering, you will play a key role in electrical engineering projects for critical UK infrastructure, including iconic projects at home and abroad.
Our expertise spans water, aviation, defence, energy, urban development, and education sectors, providing comprehensive engineering solutions throughout project lifecycles, including client-side support and construction phases. We currently have opportunities in our Manchester office.
Your Purpose:
* Lead and manage teams performing technical design work adhering to standards and quality expectations.
* Define project briefs, scopes, and contribute to bid proposals.
* Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones.
* Collaborate with UK and international teams for integrated design solutions.
* Establish quality assurance standards for design.
* Develop and grow electrical engineering capabilities within the practice.
What you can bring:
* Chartered Electrical Engineer.
* Experience in delivering design, including multidisciplinary aspects.
* Deep knowledge of electrical design (LV and HV systems), motor control centres, switchgear, electrical installations in industrial environments, HAZOP, DSEAR/ATEX standards, SLD/BCD production, earthing, bonding, and familiarity with UK standards.
