Customer Service & Sales Support
Shift Times: Monday - Friday 9:00-17:30
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Location: Milton Keynes, MK10 9RG (Hybrid working)
Contract Type: Temporary 6 month contract to cover maternity leave
We are looking for a highly organised and customer‑focused individual to join our team in a busy support role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, handling enquiries, and keeping processes running smoothly through strong administrative and Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email, providing a professional and helpful service at all times
* Support customers with order queries, updates, and general requests, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
* Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are correctly recorded in internal systems
* Maintain and update customer records, including account details, billing information, and order history
* Use Excel to track orders, monitor progress, and maintain accurate records and reports
* Assist with preparing quotes and basic pricing information using internal tools
* Follow up on customer requests, purchase orders, and approvals to ensure timely completion
* Liaise with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure smooth order delivery
* Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and filing
* Monitor inboxes and respond promptly to customer and internal queries
* Support the wider team with reporting, tracking, and general coordination tasks
* Help ensure all processes are followed correctly and continuously look for ways to improve efficiency
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a customer service, admin, or office‑based role
* Confident and professional phone manner
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
* Clear communication skills and a team‑oriented approach
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
