Bearehill Care Home is a beautiful Georgian mansion in the charming town of Brechin, surrounded by tranquil gardens and scenic wildlife. The home provides high quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 49 residents. With its sunny conservatory, sensory garden, freshly prepared meals and warm, homely atmosphere, it is a place where residents are supported to live well and feel truly valued.
Clinical Deputy Manager
* Up to £50,000 per annum
* 40 hours per week
* 2 supernumerary shifts and 2 clinical shifts
* Paid NMC fees, Paid PVG, Pension
* 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract
Role OverviewAs Clinical Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to lead the clinical and operational delivery of the service, ensuring residents receive safe, effective and high quality care. You will oversee clinical practice, ensuring care is person centred, compliant and reflective of individual needs and preferences.
You will support, mentor and develop the nursing and care teams, promoting best practice and a positive, supportive culture across the home. You will build strong relationships with residents, families and external professionals, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.
You will confidently deputise for the Home Manager when required, contribute to audits and quality improvement processes, and play a key role in maintaining high standards of care, documentation and governance.
What We Are Looking For
* Registered Nurse RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN
* Strong clinical background within elderly care, including dementia care
* Proven leadership and team management skills
* Ability to mentor, support and develop staff
* Good understanding of clinical governance and quality standards
* Values led approach with a genuine passion for delivering high quality care
