We are currently seeking a caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child’s daily learning experience. Beginning September 2025. Duties as SEN 121 Teaching Assistant: Provide 1:1 support to a named pupil with SEND (in-class and during interventions) Adapt learning tasks and strategies to meet the pupil’s individual needs Help promote independence, social skills, and emotional regulation Monitor progress and contribute to assessments and support plans Work in partnership with the class teacher, SENDCo, and external agencies Foster a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment Ideal SEN 121 Teaching Assistant: Experience working with children with SEND (desirable but not essential) A calm, flexible and positive attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills as a SEN 121 Teaching Assistant.
