Nursery Practitioner - 2 - 4year olds (To start September 2025)
Full time: 52 weeks a year with 30days holiday, plus bank holidays (closed for 2 weeks at Christmas)
NJC SCP 4 – 6
Salary £16,489 - £17,015 - depending on experience
Working pattern: 13:00 – 18:00

We are excited to announce the opening of our new nursery provision and are looking for a passionate, highly motivated, and skilled nursery practitioner to join our team. Our nursery caters to children aged 2 to 4 years old, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for their growth and development.
We are looking for someone who:
* Can communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
* Is patient, calm and has a good sense of humour
* Demonstrates high expectations of positive behaviour for learning
* Provides daily care, including feeding, nappy changing, and assisting with personal hygiene.
* Has experience of working with Early Years aged children
* Assists in planning and delivering educational activities that promote children's development.
* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
* Can work under the guidance of the Nursery Manager and EYFS lead but can use their own initiative to ensure that children have access to appropriate activities to support their physical, emotional, social and intellectual development.
* Has a commitment to supporting all children to reach their potential
* Will be committed to the role, our values and our team.
* Builds and maintains relationships with pupils, parents and other members of staff to ensure the children are receiving the best possible support.
* Ensures compliance with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety, security, and confidentiality.
