Job Description:
We are seeking an Electronics Safety and Reliability Engineer for a full-time position based in Derby / Glasgow with hybrid working arrangements. The role involves developing system design, safety cases, and information assurance cases for submarine reactor control, instrumentation, power systems, and plant sensors, supporting the Dreadnought and SSN AUKUS classes of submarines.

Responsibilities include supporting safety campaigns, performing electrical control systems safety analysis, developing safety cases, hazard identification, safety analysis, and producing technical reports aligned with engineering best practices.
Ideal candidates will be qualified to degree level in Engineering, Maths, Physics, or possess equivalent relevant experience. Demonstrable proactivity, determination, and delivery focus are essential, along with the ability to produce clear and concise technical reports. Experience with hazard identification techniques such as FMEAs, HAZOPs, fault tree analysis, and reliability evaluation methods is preferred.
