What you’ll do
* Lead by example in a culture of safety, opportunity, inclusiveness, and diversity
* Uphold Robertson Group safety and quality control standards
* Take full budgetary responsibility for FM services and manage the contract budget, including monthly analysis of transactions and forecasting
* Manage Lifecycle budget (Projects) to ensure assets are maintained in line with service standards
* Maintain high-standard compliance records to meet statutory requirements, contract service standards and SHTMs
* Liaise with client representatives regularly to foster positive, long-term partnerships
* Apply effective risk management with Commercial and Financial partners to ensure risks and opportunities are identified and mitigation plans implemented
* Monitor contract and team performance; provide formal monthly reports to the client and RFM Operations Manager; attend monthly Operational Meetings with the client to discuss performance
What you’ll need
* Experience in management with a relevant degree or professional qualification in an Estates/Facilities discipline
* Commercial awareness of PFI within the healthcare sector or similar complex environment
* Experience in CAFM systems to manage helpdesk tasks and reporting
* Strong technical focus with knowledge of Building Regulations
* Knowledge and understanding of NHS SHTM 00 best practice guidance for health care engineering policies and principles
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills; methodical approach
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Recognised health and safety qualification (e.g., IOSH / NEBOSH / SMSTS)
* First-class customer service skills with a positive outlook and flexible, team-working attitude
* Proficiency in relevant computer programmes (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
* Considerable budgetary experience
The successful candidate will require a DBS/Disclosure Check before starting in the job.
Who we’re looking for
The successful candidate will be responsible for Contract Manager duties, overseeing site operations, health, safety, wellbeing, and commercial & financial profitability of Balfour Hospital for Hard FM services across the facility. They will maintain positive executive customer relationships with end customer (NHSO) and ProjectCo SPV and collaborate with colleagues to deliver a positive, proactive environment.
