Our facility is equipped with a broad range of core capabilities, enabling us to manufacture and rigorously test a diverse array of equipment. We have particular expertise in pipe welding and mechanical fitting, and we offer in‑house Level 2 weld inspection and NDT services.

Hours of Work
* 37.5 hours, Mon‑Fri, 8am‑5pm Mon‑Thurs and 8am‑12pm Fri
Key responsibilities
* Interpret customer specifications, work instructions and drawings.
* Produce and review drawings against suitability for manufacture.
* Research technical information and quality documentation in response to customer requirements.
* Source equipment and produce purchase specifications to support procurement.
* Negotiate cost prices and lead times; prepare tender documentation for smaller projects.
* Support project managers on larger projects by managing technical queries.
* Manage projects, offering guidance to the site team and working with the Project Manager to solve unforeseen issues.
* Develop programme plans, coordinate installation activity and adhere to program delivery.
* Monitor Project/Task scopes and administer contracts, addressing contract changes via NEC contracts or standalone contracts.
* Identify efficiency gains; ensure resource/material/equipment availability for site welding/assembly activities.
* Ensure equipment is built/installed according to customer drawings and information.
* Maintain a strong working relationship with the client by providing first‑class service.
What you need for the role
* Degree‑level qualification in Engineering or similar.
* Ability to produce and interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions.
* Logical, analytical and innovative thinking on a range of technical problems.
* Commercial awareness, knowledge of NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contracts, ability to prioritise workshop loading, manage labour and proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
