We are offering an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals-including SEN Teaching Assistants, Health Care Support Workers, Sports Coaches, Youth Workers, and Learning Support Assistants with behavioural management experience-to join our team at specialist schools in North London.
Our schools cater to pupils aged 3-11 years with ASD and Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities and associated challenges. Experience in this field is essential.
In this position, you’ll work alongside SEN-trained staff, supporting educational programs designed to ensure all pupils can access learning in an inclusive and progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet pupils’ personal care needs by implementing tailored personal programs covering social, health, hygiene, physical, first aid, and welfare matters.
* Provide supervision and support during lunchtime to guarantee pupils’ safety and engagement in learning activities.
* Help pupils follow instructions, particularly in literacy, numeracy, and other local/national strategies, from early years through Key Stage 4, under the guidance of the class teacher.
* Build positive relationships with pupils by acting as a role model, addressing individual needs, and fostering interaction with others.
* Ensure the classroom is prepared for activities after lunch and tidy afterward.
