Overview
Dennington CoE Primary School are looking for a friendly, reliable and highly organised Administration Assistant to join our school office team at Dennington CoE Primary School in Dennington, Suffolk. Dennington Primary is part of All Saints Schools Trust, a group of 15 successful schools sharing expertise and resources. Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, with excellent communication skills, a professional manner and a friendly, approachable nature.
* Need to be confident using a range of IT systems and office equipment
* Prioritise tasks effectively
* Have strong attention to detail
* Provide a variety of administrative and financial duties, including processing payments, maintaining accurate records, handling confidential information, and supporting the smooth running of clubs and school events.
Requirements / What we are looking for
* Is efficient, flexible, proactive and takes pride in their work.
* Can work both independently and as part of a team.
* Has good literacy, numeracy skills (GCSE English and Maths grade C or above or equivalent) and can demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Office and other IT software.
* Can manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.
* Has a good understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding.
* Previous experience in a school office or administrative setting is desirable, but not essential – full training and support will be provided.
Salary and Hours
Salary: £24,413 pro rata, £12.65 per hour, term time only
Hours: 30 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, required September 2025
Location: Dennington, Woodbridge, Suffolk IP13 8AE
