Job Title: SEN Art Teacher

Salary: £160 - £250 per day
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive SEND school in Ipswich, who are looking to appoint a passionate SEN Art Teacher. The school is committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every pupil is encouraged to express themselves creatively and develop both academically and personally.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated and creative SEN Art Teacher on a part-time or full-time basis, with an immediate start available. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible art lessons tailored to pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH. You will work closely with support staff to ensure all students can participate, express themselves, and achieve positive outcomes.
The successful SEN Art Teacher will have:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
· Experience working with children with SEND, ideally within a specialist setting
· A passion for art and creative expression as a tool for learning and development
· A strong understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
· A patient, flexible, and empathetic approach
