Our client is a medium sized engineering firm looking for a powder coater. Job Function * Wash all components that require powder coating, rinse with solution to aid adhesion. * Rub down if required to prepare the required powder coated surface to enable a secure adhesion of the colours. * Ensure that the surface is suitable for the powder coating process to commence. * Ensuring that all components and the fan cases are completely covered, creating a good high quality finish. * Continuously assessing the assemblies for quality and ensuring that all areas of the construction, meet the agreed specification and conformance requirements. * Reporting of all non-conforming parts/parts of poor quality to the production supervisor. * Ensure that all work undertaken is fully understood, and the correct process, colour and finish are required before commencing the final painting of components. * Comply with the standards and procedures adopted by the company, comply with all Health and Safety mandates. * Compete all work within the given timeframe and to specification, complete all relevant quality checks and fulfil all recording requirements. * Complete assigned housekeeping activities ensuring a clean safe working environment, participation in activities associated around the manufacture of fan cases and embracing new technologies.
