In partnership with National Highways, we’re shaping the future of travel at the A47 Thickthorn junction. Two new free‑flowing slip roads will ease congestion and improve connections between the A47 and A11 — saving commuters and businesses hundreds of hours every week.
You will be working in the Infrastructure OU based in Norwich in where we are responsible for bringing design, build and refurbishment excellence to complex civil engineering projects nationwide – combining technical expertise with a passion for creating lasting value for people and places.
We are currently looking for a Receptionist who will provide Reception and administrative support to the teams at the A47 Thickthorn permanent site. This is a part time role with working hours from 8am - 1:30pm Monday - Friday on site.
As the Receptionist, you will:
1. Meet and greet visitors to site in a friendly and professional manner and direct them as necessary.
2. Manage the room booking system and set up meetings for the team.
3. Order and arrange refreshments for those booked in the meeting room if requested and ensure meeting rooms are prepared.
4. Assist and participate with organising internal and public events on site.
5. Receiving, recording and distributing deliveries/paperwork.
6. Responsible for monitoring the EV chargers and ensuring they are utilised efficiently.
7. Assisting with delivery tickets/scanning/uploading documents.
We are looking for:
8. Proficient with Microsoft Office.
9. Office Reception & Admin background, ideally working in a site project environment or, multi member teams.
10. Good customer liaison, positive attitude and ability to preserve confidentiality.
11. Good time management.
