The school now requires a creative and highly organised Art Technician to support the smooth running of the department. Role Information The Art Technician will assist teachers across KS3–KS5 by preparing materials, setting up workshops, maintaining equipment, organising storage, supporting exhibitions, and assisting with student projects. This includes tasks such as mounting work, kiln operation (training provided), ordering supplies, handling artwork for displays, and ensuring the studios are clean, safe, and well-organised. The role requires creativity, excellent practical skills, and the ability to work with a variety of artistic mediums including paint, clay, textiles, mixed media, and digital tools. You will also support whole-school arts events, exhibitions, and open evenings.
