As a Product Support Technician at Terex/Genie, based in the UK, you'll play a pivotal role in offering our customers technical support. What you’ll do Provide first level office-based technical support and assistance on service-related matters by telephone and electronic mail/Salesforce etc as part of the Product Support Team Provide technical subject expert knowledge to Field Technicians, customers and ASP’s/Dealers. Take ownership of issues raised and provide efficient resolutions whilst managing enquirers expectations Administer first class service to all customers whilst working closely with the Field Services Team Assist and monitor technical issue resolution provided by the customer or Terex personnel ensuring that they are supported technically with superior customer service What you’ll bring Knowledge of mobile elevating work platforms and the operations of Genie products and the mechanical aptitude to perform repairs Working understanding of the operating characteristics of current equipment, which include manual and self-propelled aerial work platforms and material lifts and a basic understanding of assembly processes enough to examine and repair equipment problems Working knowledge of mechanical (engines, drives, etc.), electrical (circuits, loads), and hydraulic (actuators, pumps, pressures) systems Working knowledge in the usage of common hand tools, handheld power tools, and portable air tools Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Explorer) Fluency in the English language, Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to document proceedings of conversations Why Join Us We are a global company, and our culture is defined by our Values — Integrity, Respect, Improvement, Servant Leadership, Courage, and Citizenship.
