The business provides outsourced IT support services in the South West, such as cloud solutions such as Microsoft Office 365 and virtual servers/desktops, and various software and hardware solutions to a wide range of organisations including businesses, schools, charities and the hospitality sector
DAY TO DAY:
1. Acting as the first point of contact for all IT support issues
2. Supporting internal teams to help them understand IT problems that might occur
3. Delivering first-class end-user support
4. Coordinating the day-to-day management of a range of IT hardware including handheld devices, mobiles, and fixed printers
5. Working with suppliers to deliver the best possible service to end users
6. Ensuring the effectiveness of monitoring solutions
7. Listening and guiding end-users making sure that business objectives lead the decision-making process
WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE:
8. The successful candidate will possess at least 2 years of experience in an IT support role, and have a good knowledge of supporting both Windows and Apple products.
9. It is essential that the candidate is experienced with installing/supporting Microsoft Windows and supporting Microsoft Office 365.
10. Full clean driving license
11. Excellent telephone manners and communication skills
12. Works well as part of a team, good interpersonal skills
13. Customer-facing skills
14. Microsoft Windows OS installation and support experience
15. Microsoft Office 2013-2019 installation and support experience
16. Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory configuration and troubleshooting experience
