Reviewingpatients,liaisingwiththeirfamiliesandotherprofessionalsinvolved.
Giveclinicalsupervisiontothejuniordoctors.
Attend ward meetings, including board rounds and Future Care Planning Meetings
Helpformulatethetreatmentplanandgiveguidanceonevidence-basedtreatment.
Maintaingoodrelationshipswithwardteam,fellowoldagepsychiatrists,multi-professionalapprovedclinicians,anddeprivationoflibertysafeguardorMentalHealthActteams.
Veryoccasionallyitisnecessarytoprovideexpertadvice,asdirectedbythecourts,onTrustpatients.
