SEN Teaching Assistant
£92.56-£105 per day | Warrington & Halton | Immediate & September start
We're working with a range of SEN schools across Warrington and Halton who are looking for reliable, hands-on SEN Teaching Assistants to join them on both a short-term and long-term basis.
These SEN Teaching Assistant roles involve supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and complex learning needs, so would suit someone who is confident working in a structured but sometimes challenging education and SEN environment.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant (LSA), SEN Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or Care Worker, or anyone who has worked with children or vulnerable individuals and is looking to build a career in the education sector.
The role:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups as an SEN Teaching Assistant
Working closely with teachers to support learning, behaviour, and engagement
Helping manage routines, transitions, and emotional regulation
Supporting pupils with additional needs including autism, SEMH, and behavioural challengesWe're looking for:
Experience in SEN, education, support work, care, or youth work
A calm, patient, and resilient approach suited to SEN settings
Someone reliable and available for work in Warrington or Halton
