This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic and newly qualified tax professional to step into the role of Tax Accountant. Based in the Heathrow area, the successful candidate will be part of a high-performing team, supporting a complex tax structure involving over 150 entities. The Tax Accountant will work closely with senior tax leadership, providing support across compliance, advisory, and strategic tax matters.
This role offers exposure to exciting projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and internal restructures, making it an ideal position for someone looking to make an impact in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Skills/experience required
* ACA or CTA qualified, or ATT with CTA finalist status.
* Strong background in tax compliance.
* Experience managing large, complex groups (150+ entities).
* Familiarity with group calculations, CRA processes, and UK GAAP

Main responsibilities:
* Assist with group tax returns and statutory account tax disclosures from April to December.
* Support final filings from December to January.
* Conduct quarterly reviews of VAT structure and balances.
* Provide strategic input while ensuring tax compliance across the group.
* Compile and review tax data for consolidated group reporting.
* Support tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and internal restructures.
